Outlook- The Orioles are counting on guthrie to be the ace of a young

and unproven staff. Once again the O’s season is relying on this 30 year

old to be their #1 and he has proven to be a legit #1 or 2 his first two seasons,

improving each one. The title mentor also goes with this young man this season,

something that he will do well with the likes of Matusz, Tillman, Arrieta in Spring

training and with Penn, Hill, Liz, Pauley, etc during the season. Guthrie has a

4 seam and 2 seam that work between 93-97 MPH, with above average off

speed pitches that consist of a change, curve and slider.
